About The RealReal
The RealReal is a US luxury consignment marketplace founded in 2011. It sells pre-owned fashion, jewelry, watches, art and home furnishings through its website and stores. Its teams authenticate, price and photograph goods before they go on sale.
The RealReal seeks an Employee Experience Program Manager to lead company-wide events, its recurring newsletter, visual communications, and employer-brand amplification across LinkedIn and Glassdoor. The role requires 4–6+ years of relevant experience and offers an expected annual salary range of $115,000–$125,000, with starting pay depending on work location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the creative concept, run-of-show logistics, slide deck formatting, speaker preparation, and live technical execution for company-wide meetings, including All-Hands, Town Halls, and Fireside Chats.
- Conceptualize and produce interactive cultural programming, employee appreciation weeks, and ERG milestones.
- Own the layout, visual design, and distribution of the recurring company-wide newsletter; gather updates from department leads and project owners, refine content for tone and clarity, and package it into engaging, scannable digests.
- Design on-brand presentation decks, digital signage, Slack banners, visual toolkits, infographics, and short multimedia assets, including GIFs and video recaps using Descript and Canva.
- Refine, edit, and optimize announcements and talking points with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring communications are clear and aligned with the company voice.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Marketing to turn internal achievements, culture spotlights, and employee milestones into LinkedIn posts and employer profile updates, including LinkedIn Life pages and Glassdoor employer branding.
- Govern Slack channels and internal hubs with business leads, reduce information noise across corporate and frontline teams, and track readership and event engagement metrics.
Qualifications
- At least 4–6 years of experience in employee experience, internal communications, corporate events, or employer branding, creating programming and tailored content for diverse, multi-segmented workforces, including hourly, corporate, remote, retail, and field or operational populations.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end corporate events, including All-Hands, panel discussions, and hybrid broadcasts, with senior executives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex initiatives into concise, relatable copy.
- Hands-on proficiency with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Google Slides to produce clean, modern graphic assets.
- Data-oriented approach and ability to use metrics such as NPS, turnover, and engagement scores to tell a story and drive change.
- Experience with engagement tools such as CultureAmp, Lattice, or Glint.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence and confidence working directly with executive leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: experience supporting diverse workforces in hybrid, corporate, retail, or remote environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with workplace communication tools such as Slack.
- Preferred: basic video-editing skills, using tools such as Canva or CapCut, for internal recap reels.
