The RealReal is a US luxury consignment marketplace founded in 2011. It sells pre-owned fashion, jewelry, watches, art and home furnishings through its website and stores. Its teams authenticate, price and photograph goods before they go on sale.

Role & Responsibilities

• Achieve supply and demand goals by creating an exceptional client experience through superior service, clienteling, and partnership with Valuation Managers.
• Manage day-to-day support for Customer Experience Specialists and foster a positive, productive environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
• Train and develop Customer Experience Specialists in product knowledge, sales techniques, consignor education, and customer service.
• Prioritize The RealReal’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training to help maintain a diverse team and create an inclusive environment.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and build brand loyalty through a best-in-class customer experience.
• Lead the store team when the Store Manager is not on site and flex between store roles as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in store management, preferably in the luxury or fashion industry.
• Experience in a commissioned sales or retail organization and/or an operationally intensive business.
• Comfort conducting routine employee touch-bases and performance reviews to support training and development.
• Confidence and ability to manage a sales floor strategically, including scheduling, zoning, and coaching.
• Strong customer service orientation, clienteling abilities, floor management, and sales skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build relationships with multiple cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, to meet business needs.
• Passion for luxury fashion, sustainability, and The RealReal’s mission.
• Ability to lead by example in supporting internal and external customers through education and empowerment.
• Preferred: Knowledge of clienteling, consignment, sustainability, the circular economy, and luxury retail.
• Preferred: Comfortable with technology and learning multiple software applications to complete daily deliverables and teach or support others in learning them.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of store management experience, preferably in luxury or fashion; experience in commissioned sales or retail and/or an operationally intensive business.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 65581.10 to USD 74949.60 per annum.
