The Seasonal Warehouse Associate safely receives, stocks, picks, packs, prepares, puts away and ships products for retail stores and online customers, with cross-training across distribution center departments. The role is full-time and seasonal, with a base pay of $18.00 per hour; certain schedules may qualify for shift differential pay.
Role & Responsibilities
- Safely receive, stock, pick, pack, prepare, put away and ship products to retail stores and online customers in accordance with established production rates, processes and procedures.
- Follow company, state and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations, wear appropriate work attire, and report safety violations or potential violations to supervisory or management personnel.
- Comply with company Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
- Work designated shifts and overtime as requested to meet business and operational needs.
- Respond proactively to direction from shift coordinators, management and other departmental personnel.
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service.
- Cross-train and perform receiving, picking, packing, put-away, shipping and replenishment assignments across departments according to business and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with WMS picking procedures or previous experience using menu-driven applications.
- Familiarity with warehouse layouts or the ability to learn them.
- Ability to operate RF terminals to receive, pick and replenish products.
- Ability to pack products using preferred methods.
- Basic math skills and ability to match numbers.
- Ability to cross-train in receiving, picking, packing, put-away and shipping processes.
- Ability to understand other business functions as they relate to the position.
- Ability to work closely and effectively with others to promote teamwork.
- Positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
