The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, presentation, and fulfillment, and assists customers by locating items and completing orders. The role requires physical merchandise handling, technology proficiency, flexible scheduling, and, at select doors, the ability to drive a company vehicle; compensation varies by location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
- Maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards as directed.
- Participate in other store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
- Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs.
- Handle additional ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts; lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maintain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with Visual standards.
- Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PC, iOS device, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with state Driver's License standards (select doors only).
