Role & Responsibilities

• Model Saks Fifth Avenue’s principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank.
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and event sales goals, as well as daily and monthly department sales goals.
• Deliver consistently high customer service, building strong customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative.
• Represent Saks Fifth Avenue positively in dealings with the designated Account Executive.
• Use the online clienteling tool to record and maintain customer information and preferences to grow the business.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from initial approach through product application, sale closing and follow-up.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming cosmetics counter.
• Build individual and vendor-line sales, establish and maintain customer relationships, and develop new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts.
• Attend in-house training programs and support pre-booked facial consultation events.
• Maintain a properly merchandised counter and proficiently close retail sales.
• Drive an individual business using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system while adhering to company standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience exceeding quota.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring substantial multitasking and minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use Saks Fifth Avenue’s proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative and a positive approach to the work environment.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to build a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Ability to demonstrate professional makeup and treatment consultation and application.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
