Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service, build individual and vendor-line sales, establish and maintain customer relationships, collaborate effectively with team members, and establish new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts while adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events, maintain a properly merchandised counter, and close retail sales effectively.
- Drive individual business using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system.
- Model Saks Fifth Avenue Principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event, and department daily and monthly sales goals.
- Represent the brand and department while developing excellent customer relationships and maintaining consistently high customer service.
- Maintain a positive image as a liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the designated Account Executive.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and application through sale and customer follow-up.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, welcoming selling area and uphold counter standards.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
- Demonstrated success in sales, including exceeding quota.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring substantial multitasking with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and use online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Saks Fifth Avenue.
- Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive approach to the work environment.
- Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to drive a successful business.
- Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
- Ability to provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications.
