About Kiehl’s

Kiehl’s began in 1851 as an apothecary on the corner of Third Avenue and East 13th Street in Manhattan. Its skincare counters still offer consultations and samples, two practices handed down from the pharmacy.

Kiehl’s seeks a Sales and Training Executive to drive retail sales and education across department store and specialty accounts in the Orlando/Tampa territory, with the employee living within 100 miles. The role manages account relationships, sales performance, merchandising, launches, and training; it is a permanent, full-time position requiring 60–80% travel.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive retail sales by location and develop personnel and education strategies for department store and specialty retail accounts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts and manage them to achieve daily and monthly business goals, promotional activities, and launches.
  • Coach beauty advisors to exceed sales expectations and meet Kiehl’s brand responsibilities; partner with in-store leadership on retailer and brand sales initiatives.
  • Plan, deliver, and follow up on new-hire training and timely completion of Kiehl’s Academy courses.
  • Monitor and analyze business trends across territory stores; implement in-store seasonal plans and execute product launches, gifts with purchase (GWPs), and purchase-with-purchase (PWPs) with store or department managers to maximize visual impact and sales.
  • Track total retail performance across the territory daily, monthly, and seasonally.
  • Arrange and lead seasonal meetings with each store; prepare and deliver seasonal retailer presentations; participate in or organize regional retailer strategy meetings.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of counter stock and display units, hold beauty advisors accountable for Kiehl’s store quality requirements, maintain merchandising standards, and protect company assets by monitoring returns, testers, and TOA usage.
  • Develop, motivate, and train business managers and counter personnel through education and e-learning programs; plan, deliver, and follow up on new-hire training using Kiehl’s training and education tools.
  • Ensure consistent execution of pricing, merchandising, and marketing strategies in each territory store.
  • Communicate selling and inventory trends accurately and promptly to district, regional management, and home-office partners.
  • Attend and participate in sales and management training meetings and events as directed by management.

Qualifications
