Kiehl’s is hiring a part-time Keyholder in Newton, Massachusetts, to support the Store Manager in achieving store and individual sales goals, deliver excellent customer service, develop repeat business, and maintain store presentation and operations. The role includes opening and closing procedures, training new employees, and executing visual and selling directives; the stated salary range is $17–$19.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving store sales goals while meeting individual sales goals set by the management team.
- Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and uphold customer service excellence standards.
- Build customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
- Execute short- and long-term plans in support of the store’s business strategy.
- Lead in productivity.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures.
- Train new store employees.
- Maintain product and brand-image presentation while keeping the store neat and organized.
- Execute visual directives, educational selling tools, and customer service standards effectively.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Retail and/or cosmetics experience preferred.
- Prior keyholder experience preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Communication skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work two closing shifts per week and two full weekends per month.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis; immigration support or sponsorship is not offered.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin preferred.
- Able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as needed, and regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
