HUGO BOSS seeks a Store Manager for its BOSS Outlet in National Harbor to lead store operations, sales, staff development, customer experience, inventory control, and health and safety. The full-time role requires 5 years of Specialty Retail Management experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and a positive impression of HUGO BOSS through compelling merchandise presentations and operational strategies that support positive operating profits.
- Train and develop staff, provide exceptional customer service, drive business with the merchant group, and resolve problems through effective communication.
- Achieve sales and profit results while managing loss prevention and inventory control.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, developing a client base, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are executed and policies are followed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Manage staff personnel activities, including hiring, training, appraising, rewarding, motivating, and disciplining.
- Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action as needed.
- Evaluate and address performance issues, and actively recruit candidates.
- Lead, motivate, develop, and inspire the team while fostering an empowered organization.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met, support store staff in maintaining high standards, and maintain health and safety documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong customer service and selling experience.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to process information and merchandise using computer and POS register systems.
- Ability to communicate with associates, guests, and management.
- Ability to work varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- High level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
