The Stock Associate supports merchandise operations at the HUGO BOSS BOSS Store in Short Hills, ensuring accurate receiving, replenishment, presentation, inventory, and a strong customer experience. This full-time role also supports Health & Safety procedures and requires 1–2 years of stock experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compare merchandise invoices with received items to verify shipment accuracy.
- Display merchandise on shelves, counters, and tables to attract customers and promote sales.
- Receive, open, unpack, and issue merchandise for the sales floor.
- Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
- Take inventory and examine merchandise to identify replenishment needs.
- Answer customers’ questions about merchandise and advise them on product selection.
- Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
- Support store management in implementing Health & Safety policies and operational procedures, using the training and guidance provided.
- Comply with Occupational Health & Safety requirements at all times.
- Contribute to a positive HUGO BOSS brand impression through exceptional shopping experiences and engaging merchandise presentations that support positive operating profits.
- Assist with VDC installations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of stock experience.
- Effective time-management skills and the proven ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle and place merchandise, and to ship and receive products.
- Ability to use retail operating systems, a PC, and scanning equipment.
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor and in stockrooms for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to contribute to an effective, productive team environment.
