The part-time Stock Associate at HUGO BOSS’s BOSS Outlet in Garden City, New York, supports merchandise processing, inventory, replenishment, customer inquiries, store presentation, and Health & Safety procedures. The role is listed as unlimited-term.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compare merchandise invoices with received items to verify shipment accuracy.
- Present merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
- Receive, open, unpack, and issue sales-floor merchandise.
- Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
- Take inventory and examine merchandise to identify replenishment needs.
- Answer customer questions about merchandise and advise on product selection.
- Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
- Support store management in implementing Health & Safety policies and operational procedures, using the training and guidance provided.
- Follow local laws and regulations and HUGO BOSS Health & Safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of stock experience.
- Effective time-management skills and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle merchandise, place it on the sales floor, and ship and receive products.
- Ability to use retail operating systems, a PC, and scanning equipment.
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor and in stockrooms for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to contribute to an effective and productive team and work environment.
