Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations in assigned departments to ensure workflows are executed smoothly.
• Direct and lead associates, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.
• Monitor and address accuracy, productivity, and attendance issues through the progressive discipline program.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet operational demands and adjust workloads as needed.
• Observe team performance regularly and provide feedback to support operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancements in assigned departments.
• Use SAP EWM or another WMS to monitor and manage business operations.
• Provide the Operations Manager with daily and weekly performance updates, including key metrics and progress toward goals.
• Train new hires and temporary staff to meet performance expectations.
• Cross-train team members in key positions to maintain flexibility during volume spikes, absences, and vacations.
• Coach associates and support their development and skill enhancement.
• Enforce HUGO BOSS rules and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Ensure teams comply with company policies and procedures.
• Take on new challenges and expand beyond the current role.
• Adapt to changes within assigned departments and across the Distribution Center.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a rapidly changing environment to meet organizational goals.
• Help maintain HUGO BOSS as a Great Place to Work by fostering a positive, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a retail, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Working experience with SAP or another WMS preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a proven record of success in supervisory roles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
• Technical and analytical proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and tasks, maintain a strict focus on deadlines, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
• Flexibility to work 40–45 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
• Availability and willingness to work any shift as required to meet business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed in a warehouse environment.

Experience

2–3 years of supervisory experience in a retail, logistics, or distribution environment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
