The Assistant Store Manager at HUGO BOSS’s Sawgrass Mills outlet in Sunrise leads staff and store operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting sales, profitability, inventory control, recruitment, and Health & Safety standards. This is a full-time position; benefits include health and wellness benefits, earned vacation and sick time, company-paid holidays, an employee discount, and base pay plus commission.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and convey a positive impression of HUGO BOSS.
- Showcase the brand through engaging merchandise presentations and execute operational strategies that support positive operating profits.
- Train and develop staff, deliver exceptional customer service, support business with the merchant group, and solve problems using effective communication.
- Lead the team to achieve positive results by supporting sales, managing profit and loss, and controlling inventory.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, developing a client base, and providing exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are executed and policies are followed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate performance issues and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met and empower store staff to uphold high standards in support of store management.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.
