The Assistant Store Manager at HUGO BOSS in Scottsdale leads and develops store staff, drives sales and client relationships, and supports profit and loss, inventory, operational, and Health & Safety standards. This is a full-time, unlimited-term position with base pay plus commission; benefits include health and wellness coverage, earned vacation and sick time, company-paid holidays, and an employee discount.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and represent HUGO BOSS positively to the marketplace through compelling merchandise presentations and operational strategies that support positive operating profits.
- Train and develop staff, provide exceptional customer service, support the merchant group and resolve problems through effective communication.
- Lead the team to achieve results by supporting sales, profit and loss management, and inventory control.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client-base development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are carried out and policies are followed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate performance issues continuously and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met, empower store staff to uphold high standards, and support store management in this area.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of taste and sophistication aligned with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.
