HUGO BOSS seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Pooler, Georgia store to lead team performance, customer experience, sales, inventory, compliance, and Health & Safety operations. The role is full-time and permanent, with health and wellness benefits, earned vacation and sick time, company-paid holidays, and an employee discount.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and present HUGO BOSS positively to the marketplace through compelling merchandise displays and operational strategies that support positive operating profits.
- Train and develop staff through effective communication; deliver exceptional customer service, drive business with the merchant group, and solve problems.
- Lead the team in achieving results by supporting sales, profit and loss management, and inventory control.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client-base development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures through regular management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits.
- Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action when needed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public-relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate and address performance issues continually, and actively recruit candidates.
- Support implementation of Health & Safety policies and operational procedures through training and guidance for store management.
- Follow and implement local laws and regulations and HUGO BOSS Health & Safety standards.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is properly recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Strong customer service and selling experience.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to process information and merchandise through a computer system and POS register system.
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
- Ability to work varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
