HUGO BOSS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Manhasset to lead store teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales and oversee operational standards, including Health & Safety. This full-time role offers a base pay rate of $25–$27 per hour, with offers based on relevant factors and not typically made at or near the top of the range.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and convey a positive impression of HUGO BOSS.
- Showcase the brand through engaging merchandise presentations and execute operational strategies to support positive operating profits.
- Train and develop staff, provide exceptional customer service, support business with the merchant group, and resolve problems through effective communication.
- Lead the team in supporting sales, profit and loss management, and inventory control.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client-base development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are executed and policies are followed.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate and respond to performance issues, and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met and empower store staff to uphold high standards, supporting store management in this area.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- BS college degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.
