Gucci seeks a Retail Training Manager for its North region, focused on selling ceremony and behaviors training for New York City stores and Client Services. The role assesses learning needs, delivers instructor-led and eLearning training, develops training materials, and coaches sales associates; it requires up to 30–40% travel. The estimated base salary range is $105,000–$110,000 USD, with placement within the range potentially dependent on geographic differential, skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support training strategies for Client Services and New York City stores, focusing on improving KPIs and ensuring a consistent client experience.
- Execute training activities as directed by the Vice President of Retail – North, Director of Retail Training, and Senior Manager, Retail Training – North.
- Facilitate monthly district training calls and contribute to content development.
- Create training decks for morning briefings and activities.
- Coach and train sales associates through on-floor observation, feedback, and exemplifying the luxury service experience.
- Assess regional training needs and collaborate with retail and training leaders and the regional training team to develop comprehensive solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to measure training initiative success and assess their value to overall brand objectives.
- Implement instructor-led and eLearning courses for New York City Gucci stores and Client Services.
- Deliver selling ceremony and behaviors training, implementing learning strategies based on corporate directives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
- Minimum five years’ experience in a formalized training position with retail stores.
- Additional experience in a client-facing retail role desirable.
- Luxury retail experience preferred.
- Experience planning and managing small- and large-scale training events, with flawless follow-through and execution.
- Ability to manage and work within a travel budget.
- Must have proper work authorization to work in the United States.
- Up to 30–40% travel required.
