The Painter reports to the Boutique Director and creates hand-painted personalizations and decorative designs on Goyard products, following the house’s craftsmanship, quality, presentation, and product-integrity standards. The role includes producing at least 25 personalized units per week, creating digital artwork, supporting client events and workshop operations, and pays $22 per hour plus eligibility for a production bonus and benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review personalization orders and prepare materials, including paints and stencils.
- Hand-paint client-selected designs on Goyard products with precision and consistency.
- Perform freehand touch-ups and quality checks throughout the painting process.
- Create custom digital artwork using Procreate, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Participate in personalization events and work directly with clients when required.
- Produce at least 25 personalized units per week while meeting quality standards.
- Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment, and the workshop.
- Respond to workshop emails and support daily workshop operations.
- Follow all safety, security, confidentiality, dress code, and presentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong drawing and painting skills, a steady hand, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Prior experience painting on coated canvas or leather.
- Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, and stencil printers.
