Role & Responsibilities
- Protect the safety and security of guests, employees, and the hotel.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures with guests and employees, and work with relevant local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain the confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
- Understand and follow the hotel’s emergency and loss-prevention procedures.
- Conduct thorough fire and safety patrols.
- Maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
- Attend to guests’ special requests, prioritizing, organizing, and following up with attention to detail and composure under pressure.
- Walk the hotel perimeter, grounds, and hallways regularly.
- Work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet hotel business demands.
- Meet the role’s physical requirements, including speaking and listening; walking, sitting, and standing for up to eight hours; bending, stooping, and crouching; using hand, finger, and wrist dexterity; regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds; and using close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
