The Restaurant Server at Hotel Bel-Air delivers an excellent dining experience through attentive food and beverage service, guest relationship-building and detailed menu knowledge. The part-time role requires flexibility and the ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds; compensation is $25.00 hourly.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure guests have an excellent restaurant dining experience by taking food and beverage orders, entering orders accurately into the system, setting and maintaining tables, and responding to guest requests while upholding service standards.
- Build relationships with guests and recognize in-house and VIP guests to provide an exceptional experience.
- Know all current menu items in detail.
- Fulfil guest requests relating to dietary restrictions, allergies, table preferences and special occasions.
- Bring the values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity to the role.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including talking and hearing; walking and standing for up to 8 hours; bending, stooping and crouching; using hand, finger and wrist dexterity; regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds; and close and distance vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
