The Hotel Barback supports bar operations at The Beverly Hills Hotel, maintaining service standards, stock, inventory, guest relationships, and communication across hotel teams. The permanent, full-time role requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays, and involves standing or walking for up to eight hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the bar, assist with guest and service requests, and uphold service standards.
- Keep the bar stocked with glassware, wine, beer, soda, water, juices, ice, and garnishes.
- Assist with weekly inventory, track supply needs, and put away deliveries to keep the bar organized and well supplied.
- Build relationships with guests, recognize in-house and MLA guests, and help ensure an excellent experience.
- Support special requests involving dietary restrictions, drink and garnish preferences, and special occasions, ensuring every detail is handled attentively.
- Report hotel imperfections and blemishes and work with other roles to correct them.
- Communicate with other departments and the wider hotel team to maintain alignment.
- Represent The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride and uphold the principles, goals, and policies of its Pledge.
