The Lead Cashier delivers efficient, friendly checkout service at Coach, promotes the Insider Program, supports accurate cashwrap operations, and helps develop cashier colleagues. The role requires at least one year of cashier or retail experience and a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season, and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional checkout service, warmly greet customers, and create a lasting impression.
- Represent the Insider Program and promote add-on sales and gift cards.
- Handle cash and media accurately and comply with all policies.
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
- Keep the cashwrap clean and organized, monitor equipment, and promptly report issues.
- Help train and mentor cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
