As an employer, the brand offers a dynamic environment where design intelligence, commercial agility, and inclusive storytelling converge. Its teams contribute to a legacy shaped by bold imagery, disciplined simplicity, and a distinctly urban point of view. Calvin Klein seeks talent eager to challenge convention, understand contemporary consumers, and build resonant brand experiences within an international organization committed to creativity, collaboration, and responsible growth.
Calvin Klein seeks a Senior Art Direction Coordinator to support the Creative team by reviewing e-commerce imagery for visual quality, product accuracy, and brand consistency, and by guiding revisions through the creative approval process. The role requires 2–3 years of relevant professional experience and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop; it is bonus eligible, and the position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review e-commerce imagery against approved creative direction, visual references, and brand guidelines.
- Assess product accuracy—including color, fabric texture, fit, drape, proportions, construction details, and branding—using approved references and available samples.
- Evaluate lighting, composition, styling, and visual realism; identify inconsistencies, distortions, or artifacts requiring correction.
- Provide precise image markups and actionable revision feedback to post-production teams and creative partners.
- Review hero and alternate images for consistency and recommend selections to the Art Director.
- Re-review revised assets to confirm feedback has been addressed and flag unresolved creative or product-accuracy concerns before approval.
- Maintain review notes and feedback history in designated asset review platforms, keeping the Art Director and production partners informed of outstanding revisions.
- Prioritize reviews to meet daily, weekly, and seasonal deadlines while maintaining quality across product categories.
- Support senior creatives in updating visual guidelines and reference examples, sharing recurring image issues to inform review standards.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Marketing, or a related concentration is preferred.
- Experience with e-commerce imagery; fashion or in-house brand experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital imaging and retouching methods, including AI-assisted workflows, is a plus.
- Experience using digital asset review and approval platforms is preferred.
- Strong visual judgment and attention to product detail, garment fit, and brand consistency.
- Understanding of photography, lighting, composition, color, and texture.
- Ability to recognize subtle visual inconsistencies and translate them into clear image markups and revision instructions.
- Clear communication and confidence collaborating with creative and production partners.
- Strong organization and ability to review large volumes of imagery accurately within deadlines.
- A proactive approach, willingness to learn new systems, and commitment to quality and efficiency.
