Aveda’s Copy Manager develops clear, compelling, on-brand copy across campaigns, product launches, digital experiences, retail communications, and consumer touchpoints, reporting to the Global Copy Director, Hair Cluster. The role partners across creative and commercial functions, supports campaign concepting and seasonal collections, and ensures copy meets brand and regulatory standards. Full-time, regular position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling, on-brand copy in Aveda’s voice across campaigns, product launches, digital experiences, retail communications, and consumer touchpoints.
- Develop engaging, on-brand campaign copy for print, digital, visual merchandising materials, video scripts, and other formats.
- Assist with campaign ideation and conceptualization.
- Create names and copy for seasonal collections and sets.
- Partner with Marketing, Product Development, Education, Online, Visual Merchandising, Design, and Legal to ensure brand expressions are strategically sound.
- Collaborate with Legal and Marketing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Use cross-functional feedback to inspire creative solutions and refine copywriting approaches.
- Participate proactively in presentations, meetings, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Qualifications
- Ability to quickly grasp a brand voice and adapt writing style across diverse platforms.
- Proactive, adaptable, self-motivated, and takes initiative.
- Proficiency in SEO/SEM writing principles and strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Works quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines, solves problems, and turns revisions around quickly.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in written materials.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 6 years of copywriting experience within the luxury, beauty, or fashion industries.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 78,800 to USD 129,450 per annum.
