Aesop seeks a Retail Consultant in Los Angeles to welcome customers, guide them to relevant products and deliver an inclusive, considered product experience that supports commercial success. This is a permanent, part-time, on-site role with a $21 hourly rate and eligibility for a monthly sales-performance incentive.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and engage, listen and guide them to relevant products.
- Use intentional interactions to deepen customers’ experience of Aesop products.
- Demonstrate products that address customer needs, including through hand demonstrations.
- Deliver an exceptional, inclusive customer experience that contributes to commercial success.
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service role or environment.
- Effective selling skills and the ability to drive commercial outcomes.
- A record of successfully participating in and contributing to a team.
- Demonstrated ability to use empathy to manage interpersonal relationships and contribute to a positive, inclusive experience for all.
- An open mindset and deep curiosity, with a desire to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of skin care and the skin care industry is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance and home categories is advantageous.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis; immigration support or sponsorship is not offered.
- The role follows an on-site working pattern.
