Aesop is hiring a Seasonal Retail Consultant in Denver for a part-time contract ending January 16, 2027. The role requires availability from November 1, 2026, through January 16, 2027, including weekends and full availability on specified weekend dates; vacation is not accommodated during this period. The stated rate is $20.00.
Role & Responsibilities
- Connect with customers through storytelling, understand their needs, and introduce products in ways that reflect their lives.
- Deliver a personalized customer journey, from a warm welcome and genuine engagement to product demonstrations and regimen building.
- Guide customers to the sink or fragrance area and demonstrate recommended products on their hands.
- Provide attentive service, recommend complete regimens, offer samples, and invite customers to return.
- Represent Aesop’s values and seek support for continuous improvement.
- Follow grooming guidelines and retail standards to consistently deliver the five-senses experience.
- Complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience working successfully as part of a customer-focused team, ideally in retail or hospitality, with attention to detail in selling and delivering tailored experiences.
- A customer-focused and commercially driven merchant mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations.
- A strong passion for selling premium products and enthusiasm for Aesop’s skincare and fragrance offerings.
- Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, use stairs and/or a ladder as necessary, and regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible availability, including weekends; full availability is required on specific weekend dates.
- Availability from November 1, 2026, through January 16, 2027; vacation cannot be accommodated during this period.
